A new launch for Youth Voices Research Group

It's a special day for us at the Youth Voices Research Group. After spending so much time helping others improve their communications with the public and various audiences we've decided to shine our gaze upon ourselves and made the big leap to improve our website. The new look brings with it inspiration and a renewed commitment to sharing what we learn when we learn it.

The timing is perfect as we are about to embark on a two-month, rapid consultation process with youth and young adults across Ontario on the links between cigarette availability and smoking cessation treatment using our CoNEKTR model. This Thursday we launch our CoNEKTR lunch-and-learn series too and will welcome the chance to share more of what we do with our peers and get inspired from the work of others.

Thank you to Ross Barclay, our amazing technical support guru who has been advising our group since we were born as the TeenNet Project in the mid-90's. Despite his (and my) long history with our team, Ross continues to bring a fresh approach to thinking about ways to deliver innovative tools that support the work we do. Thanks Ross!

Andrea Yip, our resident design thinker and social & visual media specialist deserves another big round of thanks as she helped shape the images and worked closely with Ross on bringing the new look together. Andrea's amazing sense of style has really helped us make the site look simple, elegant, yet functional. Wonderful work Andrea!

It may be a few weeks until the end of winter, but for us at Youth Voices, spring has sprung!
